Rejoicings and warnings

First the rejoicing: to the world-class goat chef and best friend who re-opened this blog, after an exteded hiatus. However, amidst the celebration comes a (completely unrelated) warning: Beware of the palm oasis at Coachella Valley Nature Preserve near Palm Springs, California. There are frightening creatures there.
